Wait for the labour organizers to ask for a boycott, follow their lead. They've asked us to not cancel subscriptions and such.
Boycott is a powerful labour tool, but it needs to be used in the right time and in the right way

Seriously. These don't so much seem like the acts of a legitimate negotiator but instead read like the spiteful rejection by an abusive partner who wants wildly disproportionate power to keep the victim desperate and afraid. Which helps them control the victim.

the union is not asking for a boycott. if you boycott then the strikers will stop receiving residuals for already-completed shows and it will reduce viewership numbers which weakens the unions bargaining position.
Neither the WGA or SAG-AFTRA is calling for a consumer boycott right now. If you want to support the strike, we're asking folks to:
1) Boost our message on social media
2) Donate to the Entertainment Community Fund, which supports affected workers

Hard to exactly what - and crucially WHY - some of the stated proposals were rejected (and withdrawn), or whether the offers were 'brutal' or just 'lesser'.
Also, some of the proposals look to be borderline unenforceable - were they rejected for THAT reason, or no..?
