What makes Moebius great villains is that even the simplest scenes can be tied back to them. Something as simple as the party changing clothing can be seen as a rejection of Moebius’s homogenization and lack of individuality, choosing to show their true colours instead.

I think Takahashi describes Noah as an emotional but mostly logic driven person, and that he lets his emotional side out after ch6. N is Noah to the extreme so he has the logos(logic) core because he’s that logical side to an extreme.

Something pretty cool is Takahashi explaining that they removed words in XC3 that wouldn't make sense for the world, he uses the example of the word "acting" since acting doesn't exist in Aionios. The en translation seems to kinda try at this (spark) but it isn't as strict.

Xenoblade 1 and 2 used Monados to show how a character’s will is tied to a false god, Shulk’s is tied to Zanza, and Malos’s to Amalthus. In 3 everyone’s will is tied is tied to Origin and Z, who’s own will is tied to the world’s, creating an Ouroboros(kinda literally).

The whole idea of flame clocks and homecoming is taken from Gnosticism. In Gnosticism every human has a bit of god called the divine spark, and the meaning of life is to return that light to god, in this case being Origin/Z because of how Z is made up of black flames.
