The new NEET SS pattern essentially puts Anaesthesiology residents at a gross disadvantage for DM Critical care seats. They now have to compete in Medicine group where qns would be limited to med & med SS topics with nothing from Anaesthesiology. This follows no valid reasoning.

So this ICU RMO one year post MBBS intubates a LVF+PE pt,sets up the ventilator & slips in art+venous lines. Sedates,props up and dries the pt. And tells me that the Rt U/L pulmonary edema could be due to a eccentric MR. He can of course do a basic TTE as well.
