Last Saturday, @reiunionchicago went ON STRIKE after REI announced their unlawful “restructuring” plan and laid off two of their sales leads. By implementing this plan and laying off our coworkers without negotiating with us, REI has ignored our union voice and broken the law.

NEWS: REI executives Wilma Wallace and Kate Wendt are leaving the Co-op. Wilma was REI's chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer, and Kate was the Vice President of strategy, transformation, and sustainability. CEO Eric Artz said there is currently no plan to replace them.
