Ang pre law course ko ay HRM. Sabi nila, bakit daw naligaw ako sa law school. Sabi ko na lang, di ko rin po alam. 😂 6 years later, I passed the bar. Kaya siguro ako "naligaw" sa law school noon, because I was meant to be a lawyer. Kapag gusto ni Lord, walang makakapigil.

For me, #Salubong is always the best part of every Bar Exam. No matter where I am, twing makakakita ako ng pics or vids ng salubong, I feel very proud that I am part of the law community.

During review days, I allotted rest days and rest hours, availed a healthy meal subscription to conserve time, and made sure I get enough sleep (altho this was challenging) because I wanted my body and mind performing at full capacity throughout the bar exams.

After our bar last year, I was immediately added by a friend to a GC full of suggested answers. Marami kaming inadd nya. Nag leave ako agad tpos sinita ko yung friend ko. I told him that before you do stuff like that, you should ask us if we want suggested answers.

I asked my husband kung okay lang sa kanya na dalawang kids lang. Only child kasi sya kaya baka he wants our daughter to have more siblings. Sabi nya, “it’s nice of you to consider me, pero ikaw ang magdedecide nyan because it’s your body. Okay lang sakin kahit ilan.” ☺️♥️✅

Honestly, my entrance test was done out of spite since I was tired of hearing na "wala akong pangarap". When I passed, I read on it and realized that this is something I could do for the rest of my life. 6 years in law school, 1 bar exam, and now 9 months as a practicing lawyer.

Gusto kong gastusan yung mga bar takers ng school nmin. Gsto ko sila bilhan ng msarap na lunch or mga necessary materials para sa kit nila. Kaso di ko pa tlaga kaya. Coaching pa lang maicocontri ko at kung magkano yung extra ko. Lord, sana po yumaman ako. 🙏🏻🥺

Ang akin lang naman, if you want to raise a soldier or a warrior, you train them to fight. You don't coddle them dahil naaawa ka, the best you can do for them is to prepare them for what is to come.

A story about this blazer: My tita bought this back in 2020. Sabi nya “isuot mo to sa oath-taking mo”. I told her na Filipiniana ang isinusuot sa oath taking or barong dress. She insisted, sabi nya “Hindi. Ito ang isusuot mo.”

Ayan uli tayo sa pananaw na 'kapag mahilig makipag debate, magsusucceed sa law school'. Debate club po kayo join kung gusto nyo ng maraming spirited arguments. Sa law school mostly parang basang sisiw lang po kami, not that much debate going on. Puro case digest po at recit, opo

Kapag natapos mo ang law school, looking back, you will realize na mas tumatak sayo yung mga recit na hindi ka nakasagot / namali ka ng sagot. Thankful akong napahiya ako sa recit nun about double insurance. Kasi natandaan ko sya hanggang bar exams. 😆

Hindi talaga ako happy sa private practice. My senior lawyer is great, I honestly look up to him kasi ang sipag sipag nya at ang husay nya makipag usap sa clients. Hindi ko alam kung bakit hindi ko mafeel yung ganong excitement sa practice ☹️

Hmm. I think an important tip for those taking the #HernandoBar2023 is to rest when you need it. Eat healthy as well. Never compromise on your health. If you don’t pick a day to relax, your body will do it for you. It will be a drag to get sick during the exam days.

I gave my best during exams. Pero sobrang nagsstruggle talaga ako mentally when things are out of my control. It causes me great anxiety kapag wala akong magawa. Sobrang kinakabahan ako, minsan hindi ako makafunction continuously, nahihirapan akong mag maintain ng momentum

One time in ObliCon. I've read all the assignments, but I ended up standing for two more hours because I didn't read enough. 🥲 I was asked tricky questions. That's when I learned that in law school, you don't read to just comply. You read to learn and understand.
