Remember Max the Chihuahua that went missing after a car crash on New Year’s Eve? Detectives returned to the crash site daily to search for him and leave out food. Today, he was there! As soon as his owner got on scene, Max ran to him and celebrated their reunion. ♥️

Shark week is over but this Great White off #ponceinlet didn’t get the message. Captain Bill Billings of Hull’s Sea Lover Charter captured this video as he, his crew & guests were out. He estimated 20 ft since the boat transom is 16 ft & the great white was 2-4 feet longer!

This is so sweet I had to share. AJ Hubbard turned 8 today & his mom brought him to the @DaytonaBchPD Officer Jason Raynor memorial because AJ wanted to donate his birthday money to Officer Raynor’s mom. “I want to help her smile. I know she feels really sad because I do too.”

Earlier today, we did story on chef in #newsmyrnabeach whose bicycle, his only mode of transport due to epilepsy, was stolen while working. Shortly after airing, someone donated brand new bike to Chef Alex Moore at Touch of Italy & many others offered. The good always wins. ❤️

Omg... this sweet cat was stuck in a generator @Publix beachside #newsmyrnabeach . @NSBFire to the rescue! They used a lubricant to ease him out... Cat had family in there with him. All safe now & a rescue is working to find the trapped cats a good home! One of 9 lives used up!!!

How absolutely cool is this! Captain David Caruthers of #ormondbeach , owner of Strippin Lips Fishing Charters encountered a whale shark 10 miles off #ponceinlet Thursday. A first for the professional. Whale sharks r worlds biggest fish... though this one likely isn’t full grown.

A single rose has been placed on memorial plaque for @DaytonaBchPD officer Jason Raynor in PD front lobby. Officer Raynor died two years ago today, after being shot in the head in the line of duty June 23rd. The suspect in this case goes on trial September 5th.
