People will come out of the woodwork calling for changes in officiating/what is reviewable, etc. I’ve been saying it for years. Don’t just say it in the playoffs. Teams like the Steelers didn’t have a chance to compete for the Super Bowl because of inept officiating.

Just heard Steve Smith the NFL Network say that JuJu Smith-Schuster hasn't done well when he's been asked to be the No. 1 WR for the Steelers. So I fact checked. In three games without Brown, Smith-Schuster's lines are as follows: 7-75-1; 9-143-1 and 5-37-0.

Darryl Drake was one of the nicest coaches I ever came into contact with in the NFL. We spoke at length Wednesday. We did a short interview and then talked about what we did over the summer and our families for another 20 minutes. He was so proud of his three daughters.

Oakland basically punted on the 2018 season when they decided to trade Khalil Mack. They doubled down at midseason when they dealt Amari Cooper. And the Steelers couldn't beat them. Don't fret over the playoffs. Art Rooney II has much bigger concerns to ponder.

The 49ers were rumored to be a trade partner for the Steelers and Antonio Brown 11 months ago. John Lynch was one of the first GMs to speak at the combine in Indy and quickly shot down those rumors. He's made a lot of smart moves in 2019. That might have been his smartest.

There is no consistency in how roughing the passer is called. Patrick Mahomes was sacked by Grover Stewart last night. He struck him in the thighs and fell down to finish by his knees. No penalty. Ola Adeniyi makes the exact same play against Lamar Jackson, and it's a penalty.
