@LacksonMunthali @FastAPI Depends what you do, if validation and serialization are really taking all the time, it'll be 10-20x faster. If your user spends 1s waiting for network, 4s waiting for db queries and 1ms waiting for validation, the time will go from 5.001s to 5.0001s - basically no change.

I've just merged a fairly big change to how @pydantic does exports from the package root to use `__getattr__` for everything. It gives me a ~38% speedup on import time. Please try it before we release v2.5 next week!

Hey @Cloudflare @threepointone @dok2001 @KentonVarda Would be really nice if CloudFlare error pages like this (e.g. 429) returned a plain text message that is easy to read in the terminal unless it's obviously a browser - e.g. check UA and/or Accept.

Pydantic is amazing & I love the fact how it stays out of your way most of the time. Plus, the v2 brings a whole bunch of Rust fueled goodies to the table. The way Python community has utilized type hinting for runtime sorcery is far better than the other big boi dynamic lang.
