I used to have a friend who would pray in his apartment for God to feed hungry people. Then he would leave, drive around until he saw someone who seemed to need food, and buy them a meal. Then he would return to his apartment and thank God for answering his prayer.

As a parent, I know what’s best for my kids, which is learning independence. So on each kids’ 6th birthday, I opt them out of laws against child neglect, drive them into the woods, drop them off with nothing but a hunting knife, and tell them we’ll have cake if they make it home.

Well let me just do my part to correct this. I have a friend who learned braille while he was serving life without parole for a crime he committed as a kid. The law changed, and he ultimately got out. Now he translates books into braille so blind people have reading material.
