FWIW Ballyburn ran the 2m at Leopardstown 1.40s faster than State Man at level weights (approximately 5½ lengths) & 4.80s faster than Lord Erskine (approximately 19 lengths) who carried 25lb less.⏱️🏇

Petit Mouchoir was around 4 seconds faster than Quilixios with 5lb more on his back. That's around 18 lengths, the Triumph winner will need to have a lot of improvement in him to figure in next year's Champion Hurdle based on today's races 🏇

I think we may have seen a decent 2yo in FEARBY @Sandownpark The average time for a 2yo over C&D on good to soft ground is 64.26s & the fastest 62.48s. He's hacked up by 5 lengths in 62.16s 🏇 (Race times since 1997)

It could be worth forgiving Fairlawn Flyer's poor run last time. It was his 1st run of the season and Warwick didn't seem to suit. Back at his favourite track (3/3 over fences at Ffos Las) he will hopefully continue his upward momentum. He ticks a lot of boxes & won't mind rain

Twistaline is still a maiden, but was pretty consistent when trained by Rod Millman. She's having her first run for Michael Appleby today in the 2:35 Lingfield. Historically he has done very well first time out with horses that have moved to his stable. She tops the rankings🏇
