1/ Since we all learned about Zagabond's past, the Azuki community has been through a lot of FUD. However, Azuki is still seen as one of the most interesting project to bet on. Azuki has obviously become much more than Zag's project or a team. It's a story

2/ This story is about people entering the web3, also called as "the garden" for Azukis. And as you can see it with this tweet (opening of the Discord), the story has been written since the very beginning of the project.

3/ It's a simple story, but the designing principle makes it way more interesting and mysterious. Here, Azuki decided to use the designing principle of Alice in Wonderland to make us dive in the web3 world they are building.

NOTE : I know the red bean is related to Matrix's red pill, but Matrix uses the same designing principle as Azuki, the one from Alice in Wonderland. Matrix's red pill = Alice's rabbit hole

4/ Using the design principle of an old story that everyone knows (and the imagery of a cult movie) to tell a brand new one is very clever. People easily understand the message you want to convey : "You're about to dive into a new world full of surprises".

5/ Now that you've built the base of your world - also called as the "arena" by writers - it's time to introduce some characters. And yes, these characters will be all the Azuki holders.

6/ Because when you master the art of storytelling you don't just tell a story, you create an experience

7/ Azukis have now met this best friend that is aside all of them as Bobu, they've also met their sidekicks as Beanz, and I'm sure that this story that is being written has many surprises in store.

8/ Moreover, we have all seen most of the Azukis being happy with each new adventure they live in their story (the party, Bobu, Beanz..). This is because this story is not written by a few people, it is written by all the Azukis, as the team wanted from the beginning.

9/ Azuki is a true community project, because it offers an experience for its community, not just a story. Azuki appeals to human emotions and this is how all the holders feel invested in the project.

10/ This project has made all of its holders more than the sum of all of them. And that's how holders have made Azuki more than a project led by Zagabond and his team.

11/ To conclude.. Of course I know that they are many other factors that made Azuki what it is now like the art, the execution, the devs.. But I think it's interesting to see how they've been able to solidify the community through storytelling. A really strong marketing asset.
