Japanese star Seiya Suzuki’s posting process officially began today and Japanese reporter Nachi Tomonari says that the Pirates are one of the teams interested in the outfielder. We made the case for them to sign Suzuki here:

relief pitcher Tony Watson, part of the team's three playoff seasons from 2013-15, has retired.
The Pirates traded Watson to the Dodgers in 2017, where he won two World Series games. Top prospect Oneil Cruz came to Pittsburgh in return.
