Top left: Oaxaca, MX. The bus from CDMX to Oaxaca is about 8 hours so long but very safe and very comfortable on the ADO bus line! About ~$30. I went for Dia de Muertos and it was a great experience. The city is famous for that, their food (mole!), and mezcal!

@lifeofeboney The thing with Dubai is that too stay there more than 30 days you need to get a visa. Often through work. Tech jobs, some marketing jobs, and medical field are pretty common to get sponsored. It’s also common that they pay for your rent! Highly recommend.

My final piece of advice for Mexico is: take your time. If you have limited days, stay in one city and dive in. Do food tours, talk to locals. Try to use your Spanish–even if it’s horrific they tend to appreciate the effort! Be respectful. Observe. Ask questions. And enjoy :)

That one time I spent Christmas solo in Cartagena… and LOVED it. Went on a food tour and learned about how Colombians celebrate the holiday. Danced my a** off. Stayed in a gorgeous ocean view apt on the 33rd floor for like $30/night. 10/10!

🤨 Too perfect.. Where are the REAL stories? Tbh I have anxiety LMAO so I’m usually super safe when traveling. I make friends, ask locals advice, try not to walk in dark alleys, research, etc. Normal things I do at home too. so tbh, I don’t have horror stories! My gut is 👑
