New combo system is in and working! Here’s a few random combos I made, it gathers data from a table and checks agains your inputs and assigns the proper combo now. You don’t wanna know how I was doing combos before 😂. This is highly scalable now. #gamedev #indiegame #UE5

I had this crazy idea to remake my characters rig in UE5 so I can easily animate in engine. This was not easy 😭I was getting a crash that took me weeks to figure out on top of learning about control rig But we're UP AND RUNNING! (still need to do backward solve on gauntlets)

@DmawDev @howieeday Ohh yes I remember this thread for sure haha. Before it was updated I tried a different method and it was so time consuming I just put a fork in it and moved on. I went with a custom depth stencil method and TBH it’s a nightmare to work with for my purposes. I will rework it soon

Knocked out a huge chunk of the new combat input buffer system. This one is way more robust and allows me to store a combo as its own table so I can quickly edit at any time. The table also stores a bunch of data including custom attack windows or anything🙌 #indiegamedev #UE5

The hoverboard was always something I went back and forth on but now I feel a lot better about it. Here’s some early exploration of that Also above anything I wanted to make game that was exclusively a rail shooter. But adding ground combat opened a lot of doors for the game!

@DmawDev @howieeday Ohh yes I remember this thread for sure haha. Before it was updated I tried a different method and it was so time consuming I just put a fork in it and moved on. I went with a custom depth stencil method and TBH it’s a nightmare to work with for my purposes. I will rework it soon
