I don’t know about you, but middle school - especially 8th grade - was a pretty awful and, frankly, dark experience.
That 30+ years later I’d be working in the glow of

He should be! 7th/8th grade is absolutely horrible, so it is accomplishment even making it through that.

I am really thankful my oldest seems to be legitimately enjoying this time. Neither I nor her mother enjoyed ours.

That tree came from a home maybe 5 miles from my TV station. I hope to get down with my family to see it this season.

8th grade me didn’t even know anything like this was possible. His dreams weren’t even this. Just surviving.
