Just wanted to assure everyone that you can post any link you want on . We make it easy to add all your social media links to your profile since none of us only use one platform. Freedom = Choice
Quick update - we are closing in on 100K people in our waitlist. late last night we rolled out the first version of Search (🎉) and are fixing bugs as fast as we can. The Post Team has been working around the clock and weekend (thank you!!!) and we hope to be able
if you signed up for the waitlist over a week ago - you have been approved and probably lost the email. You can try here with the same email you signed up with and should be OK

of the platform and I want to make it as diverse as possible within our rules (i.e. no nazi's, antisemites, bigots, racists, homophobes, misogynists - there are enough platforms for them). Please be patient and believe me we are working as hard (-core) as possible
Lots of people have been asking about jobs at Post. We are a tiny team struggling and need help from LOTS of amazing people BUT can only handle people experienced in our specific technology stack. I know engineers can learn anything but we don't have time for it at this point.
I've been working lately on the space between News & Social Media. I believe the future newspaper is the feed and want to make it more civil for users, profitable for publishers and better for society. If you care about these issues, join our beta @
to criticize me (its allowed). My logic is to balance the date people signed up, what they shared about themselves, content creators and content consumers, diversity of age, politics, profession, gender, race, sexual orientation, sense of humor etc. The initial users set the tone
Thank you to the 60,000 people who joined out waitlist. We are slowly letting people in since we still miss some key features. We are working hard to get them launched so we can let more people in. Please be patient and do tell us about yourself in the free text
let more of you in as soon as possible. Believe me, no one wants to let you in more than I do but we have to consider the implications and be ready.
There are a few conspiracy theories swirling about on who we are letting in. First of all, I am making the decision so feel free

thank you. I had assumed we would have more time and but things accelerated out of our control. Having to cram 6 months of work into 3 weeks. Please invite more democracy loving republicans - we need more conservative voices on Post

"Rescinded" has become the best hiring search term on LinkedIn. People are putting it in their LinkedIn profiles - good indication that they passed a hiring bar and got hit by the economy
"The real story of how Facebook almost acquired Waze, but we ended up with Google"
It's been 10 years since Google acquired Waze, and I thought it would be the right time to tell the story and some of what I learned. In June 2013... (98% more) on Post at
On the front end (in addition to loving pixels AND performance): extensive React or Vue experience who would be open to learning SOLID.js, SSR experience all in a serverless/AWS/Dynamo environment
The Ukrainians prove, again, that you cannot “buy” loyalty, passion conviction. It is earned. As in Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam. No amount of money can buy patriotism. Will the Russian soldier give his life for Putins empire? Do they “believe” in their mission like the Ukrainian?
The remote work question is nuanced and complicated. Humans together in a room create magic. Is that magic worth hiring weaker talent? 2+ hours a day of wasted commuting time? Do all roles, all the time, generate magic? Fascinating time as these issues are being experimented with
Ukrainian TikTok explaining how to drive an abandoned Russian tank. These people are AMAZING in their bravery, commitment, adaptability and use of social media!
Can Western intelligence borrow the Russian playbook and “leak” personal emails, bank statements, WhatsApp conversations of Putin and the Russian billionaires? A chapter from the 2016 elections and Hillary’s emails? I am sure the Russian public would be interested…
I would argue that a business built on selling people something they don't use, monthly, is not going to be a healthy business... That is thinking about the consumer first.

I know some of you have had some issues signing up to Post. We are having a huge surge since yesterday. We increased capacity and there should be no issues to join.

book "What you do is who you are" and found it one of the best books on corporate culture. The personal actions of the leader are what creates the culture, not perks, slogans, documents or signs on walls. Actions>words>theories>perks

The latest election results, are demographics at work. In the US, the younger you are the more liberal, multi-ethnic and educated. In Israel, the younger you are, the more religious, autocratic and nationalist you are. Each country faces different futures as population ages…
If you are a western supporter of Hamas - do your own research on who they are. You can translate this article (in Arabic) describing their new website or just read for yourself at .

I guess I wasn’t clear enough. I am a big believer in equity and at Waze everyone got equity and did well. Everyone worked hard as well and we built the company together. My point is that today, at Corp-Tech, equity is given without any risk or hard work so it’s just comp

Like most of you, I have become more and more worried about the state of the world. I fear that humanity has two main challenges - a hardware challenge (Climate change) and a software challenge (preserving a free, liberal, fact- and science... 280/5,576

Thought I was clearer - I love the company and the mission and would have stayed the rest of my life. I got worn down by the signal vs noise. Found myself spending most of my time on non-user issues
I came for the “cold start problem” and stayed for the “company building”.

If you work at Facebook, you could work at any other tech company for the same or better comp. This means YOU have chosen this path over others. Everything going on there is on YOU as well, not just "Corporate". Imagine having to explain why you worked for Philip Morris or Exxon.
So true. I also find that leaving a good chunk of the definition to the engineers works really well. The PM is not great at finding all the edge cases and just duplicates the work the engineers do anyway. A real partnership between eng and PM means leaning on each other
One problem with having a high ratio of PMs to other functions is that energetic PMs will find ways to start new work, leading to lots of disconnected work across teams, which then makes management think there’s a coordination problem, for which the obvious solution is… more PMs

I think we have hit peak SPAC and it's 1999 all over again. Sub $1M revenue company raising $250M via SPAC... This is great for the early stage investors, bankers, lawyers but will kill the company. Stock market is not built for pre-revenue and will eat them up. So sad, great co.
The "Quiet Resignation" is not new - most people tend to do the minimum to get by. What changed in the last few years is their expectation to be promoted like their harder working colleagues. If they are now accepting slow/no advancement or being let go, then it is progress.
NYC is back but some things have changed. Yellow Cabs are now better than Ubers! Faster to get, cleaner, cheaper (-25 to 50%), more plentiful. Serious narrative violation.
Perhaps healthcare insurance companies should raise premiums for unvaccinated? Like smoking? After all, it is the American way to outsource governing to private companies along economic incentives…

Google docs kept/keeps trying to replicate MS Office in a browser instead of rethinking what a doc is. Notion is what Google docs should have evolved into. More jarring is that MS Office is still the standard for legal contracts, negotiations - that is a startup waiting to happen
