Google is being accused of "erasing" the Vietnam flag on the Spratly Island that Vietnam occupies in the South China Sea. In the 1st pic taken in May 2020 the red flag, made of ceramics, was visible but in the latest available image (2nd pic) it was painted white. I wonder why🤔

Update: after Vietnamese authorities complained, Google said the lack of the flag was due to “poor image quality” (!) and promised to fix it by next week.
