@nathan_h_b The real problem is that those players didn't want to come here. Seattle is a tough sell on any FA. The Rays model is a solid follow w/an uptick in payroll tbh. Build the farm & develop talent of the relative same age, hold onto a few of the great ones (JRod, JP, Castillo, etc).
