Spencer Danielson kicks down door to remote cabin near McCall.
"We've got a runner. We've got a passer. Now we just need a...Koetter"
A grizzled Dirk Koetter looks over rims of reading glasses as he slowly lowers issue of Sailboats Monthly
"Son of a bitch, I'm in"
There should really be no dunking today. Avalos is a Bronco, period. We all wanted him to succeed. Regardless of how YOU feel, many players AND recruits today are going to be hurting.
Thanks for an awesome season,
@M_Cozart2
. Couldn't have reached many of the goals this year without your unselfish play and leadership. Thanks for donning the blue and orange.
Hank used an NIL deal to make a donation to the Ronald McDonald House. I hope his character isn’t really in question here. I wish it hadn’t ended this way, but team has to move on so fans might wanna too.
Whatevs, my dudes. Memorable year. One-dimensional offense not gonna fly when you stack up against a P5. Glad George went out with vintage performance and now time to plug those cracks for ‘24. Go Broncos, 2023 MWC CHAMPS
Win or lose tonight, I'm very pleased with the state of Boise State basketball. Fun teams fill with great community ambassadors, packed Extra Mile, solidly in upper tier of tough conference.
Also, please win.
However you feel about Harsin...he's a Boise guy...a Boise State guy...and that first Iron Bowl is going to be a pretty damn cool moment for him. I hope he succeeds. Honestly.
It really is rather striking when you think about it. Malachi Nelson has basically no Instagram presence...pretty quiet on Twitter/X and eschewed an announcement graphic for a simple statement. This from a kid that was the number one overall recruit in 2023
The only team to beat this Bronco squad by more than a TD is in the CFP. At times weren't aligned...had our warts, but the team didn't quit. So, so proud of these guys. Teared up a little for Spencer.

Seriously though, Leon has been such a solid coach for Boise State but definitely has had a reputation of being unable to finish. Little things make a huge difference when you spend less on b-ball than most the league. Dickey getting it done. Broncos could be here to stay

Boise State got beat worse AT HOME last season by a team far less talented than OSU and still won the conference and beat a Pac-12 team in a bowl game. Just remember that before your head hits the pillow.
Feels like there is a lot of gaslighting on this here app about Taylen. Definite argument the leash was too short...but he also had some legitimate rough patches this year. That actually makes today MORE impressive. No need to rewrite history.
Khalil Shakir likely won’t leave with any records, but has to be one of the most electric players to ever come through here. Does patently absurd things
BREAKING: The

This will be the 7th championship game appearance for the Broncos, the most by anyone in the league.

Ashton Jeanty averaged 6.1 yards/carry this year. Breezy Dubar averaged 5.4. With the bulk of the O-line returning, I still think this run game is gonna GO next year.
@taylengreen17
you told me you’d never let last year happen again day after we lost.Glad you did your thing today boy. You completed the mission. Tell them doubters say sum now.
And the saddest thing about Madsen-to-Cobbs is that is an all-time Bronco moment that will be soon forgotten because of the ensuing drive from the Knights. What a freaking effort from Cobbs on that one. Just electric.
Gotta admit, I kinda love the Dirk Koetter semi-retired "I don't even know who the players are" vibe. He's just like, "I'm just trying to win games with whoever the hell these fellas are"
There are no "unwritten rules" on court-storming. There are "know it when you see it" instances where you're like, "really?", but beating a top 20 team at home on senior night to keep an outside chance at title alive and probably lock in tourney berth—who's gonna argue?
