Ronan Sweeney suffered a rupture of his cruciate ligament along with extensive damage to the knee joint following a collision during last Sunday's County Final.
True to form, Ronan has put his club commitments first & he was back up in the club last night training the U21s 👏🇳🇬

Moorefield GAA are delighted to announce club stalwart Ronan Sweeney as our new Senior Football Manager.
Ronan comes with a wealth of experience having previously worked with Waterford, Sligo and Kildare Senior Football teams.
We are heartbroken to hear of the passing of our club president Tom McDonnell.
Tom was a lifetime Moorefield member, a former player, club official, served as Chairman three times & was the present Proud Club President.

Today Alan's wife Eileen &children Scott, Amy and Jamie presented a cheque for €25,185 to Doctor Power's Clinic in Mercy Hospital, Cork where Alan was being treated. There was also a presentation of €5,000 to Monaleen cancer support group in Limerick where Alan &his family live
