Also THE LOST HERO is checked out and my 8th grader reading the series FOR THE FIRST TIME is in agony over it (they read the first five in just over a week) and their friends were trying to get them to just skip to Apollo and I was like NO!! YOU'VE GOT TO DO IT RIGHT@!!

i met him before i had read his books - as i was 4 and too young to read - because we took my brother to a book signing, i had no idea one day i'd actually read his books
