Anyway if someone survived parental neglect, being drugged by "friends" at clubs Studio 54 when you're A CHILD, and an early adulthood where people treated you like you were a bimbo because, like, you were happy on talk shows hell yeah you deserve a little happiness in the rain.
also everyone knows the answer about "why Drew Barrymore is like that" is literally "because she had a delayed and traumatic childhood marred by addiction and neglect and then through lots of therapy and self-work has become more appreciative/aware than a regular person" right
I'm surely not the only one who poured over every detail in LITTLE GIRL LOST, right. Right?
Anyway when you've been through a lot of shit sometimes, just sometimes, joy can be smaller and easier to grasp and I am so glad for Drew Barrymore she is one of those lucky people.
she went into therapy at 13, spent time committed and was emancipated and living on her own at 15. So yeah. I must assume that making it to 47 with your own talk show, cosmetic line, production company, a celebrated movie career, and two happy kids makes you a little joyus.
Had to mute this because y'all are a bunch of assholes. I'M AWARE SHE'S RICH AND MONEY MAKES YOUR LIFE EASIER. I'M SORRY I WROTE IT IN A "TONE" YOU, ABSOLUTE FUCKING STRANGER, FOUND UNAPPEALING. maybe YOU should get a hobby. Anyway let's all just enjoy Drew Barrymore lovin' life!

It’s true but also, she’s one of those naturally vibrant and excited people. She has always been, even as a troubled youth. So she made it out to the other side with her natural vivacity intact, which is lovely. I love her, always have. She’s unapologetically herself.
@misskubelik
She truly appreciatees her life because as a child she wasn't allowed it, I read Little Girl Lost, she has lived what most people have not or will not survive, she a LIVING LEGEND! And deserves to be happy!
