Surgery phone diverted to mobile so staff can make it home in the light, lunch being eaten at 6pm, staff who were not stranded worked flat out , general practice carries on remotely , let’s hope the rain eases off now.

A tough day out there for many, nearly 2 hours for my doc to get into work for what I’m sure will be another unbelievably busy late shift. Utmost respect for them all today, and everyday

Quick tip - If you update to cloud based phone system you'll be able to use a desk phone at home. Receptionists can answer as normal, calls out will show the work number, and you can still use extension numbers as normal.
It's been invaluable for staff isolating

Great work. Very lucky to have such wonderful general practises. Doing high quality, tireless work. Remind me who did the bulk of the vaccinations (and I’m not just talking about the past year or Covid…) 👏👏👏👏👏
