North Carolina A&T can make History this December. NCAT won the 1st Celebration Bowl in 2015 & they are on the verge of winning the first Band of the Year award in 2023. I guess NCAT sets the pace for the culture &others simply follow. The NCAT "Pro-Black" haters are big mad.

I wish that HBCU FB had the same "Spirit of Competition" that HBCU basketball has. HBCU basketball has a "King David"spirit that attacks and destroys Giants & Titans.HBCU FB, on the other hand, flees from competition &creates a cop-out consolation game, the Celebration Bowl. SMH

This is why I love the FCS playoffs so much bc it shows you where your FB program really is. It prevents delusions of grandeur. When you don't go to the playoffs you can always purport to be better than you are. HBCU FB we have a lot of work to do to elevate our level of play.

Well, we are 1week out from the CB. I am waiting to see if the enthusiasm &fervor for the game rises. It seems like the game isn't the game without the Carolina schools &JSU.FAMU &Howard aren't moving the enthusiasm needle at all.I wish next year a traditional SWAC team makes it.

I believe the HBCU schools that can make the jump to FBS should do so. The schools that can't should move down to D2.We always cry that we don't have$.Thus,D2 is beneficial because it saves $&it allows us 2 play most of our natural rivals.FCS purgatory makes no sense financially.

I respect everybody in the HBCU space, however, if U are asserting that the CB championship is equivalent to the FCS championship, U have to stop. The MEAC was 5-22&the SWAC was 0-19 in the FCS playoffs. FAMU&SCSU was the only schools to see success in the FCS playoffs. STOP IT.

St Thomas University jumped from D3 to D1 overnight &is highly competitive in 🏈 &basketball. While,we have HBCUs that are perpetually stuck at the FCS &D2 levels. As @AllEyezOnMEAC stated Bowie St. & Virginia St. has been in the CIAA for 100 years without any form of movement.

I previously did a top 5 HBCU football fan base, &now, it's only fair that we list the worst. 1. UAPB (NAIA football calling) 2. Delaware St. (A solid 20 fans) 3. PV (Great facilities for what) 4. TSU (Support so bad, it made Eddie cry) 5. Alabama A&M HC& classics don't count.
