My Russian Blue has miraculously been able to come home after 3 nights in the hospital even though he was shot with a pellet gun by some jerk and it went through behind his shoulder and out his back. Doc says he thinks it might become a full recovery. He's purring.

I don't know how some cowboys and farmers do it. Get up in the freezing cold at 3am to tend to a sick cow, or wake up at 5am, shovel manure and spray out a pen with a cut hand and then milk some cows, or repair the tractor. Talk about a hard life of self-sacrifice.

@POTUS Zero difference at the grocery store, gas station, and everywhere else. Used to feed 3 at a restaurant for $35 and now it's $75 to $100. Filed taxes and no rate change and no special deductions more than normal. Wages stagnant. I also sell online and we see less orders.

Okay, my Russian Blue has almost completely recovered from that shot that someone convinced me was likely a 22 rifle. He limps just barely and is back to his playful attitude. He runs and jumps, but doesn't climb yet. It's a miracle.

My miracle kitty, this Russian Blue, is hopping around everywhere like it's nothing. I'm stunned how far a kitty who was shot with a 22, bullet went through him, has recovered so well. He barely limps on that leg now! Amazing!!!

UPDATE: My Russian Blue cat is hiding under a bed to recover. He doesn't seem as chipper as he was because the painkiller has wore off. I'm giving him antibiotics and food, carrying him to his litter box, and just petting him. He is sleeping a lot but isn't sweating. He purrs.
