: Our legislation to ban single-use plastics in

has passed Parliament.
It will ban single-use plastics like straws, cutlery and beverage stirrers from early 2021 and outlines a framework for adding more items in the future.

It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of an iconic, once-in-a-generation artist who shaped the history of Australian film and Aboriginal representation on screen – David Dalaithngu AM.

BREAKING: The Marshall Liberal Government will ban a range of single-use plastics in South Australia under proposed legislation to be introduced into State Parliament.
SA has lead the nation in waste management and now we will lead the nation on single-use plastics.

From midnight tomorrow, new restrictions on residential private gatherings and the service of food and drink will come into effect.
We're acting on expert advice to keep SA safe and strong.
We are enforcing a hard border with NSW from midnight tonight.
Only South Australians returning from NSW & people permanently relocating to SA can enter. They must self isolate for 14 days.
Essential Travellers will be permitted including cross border community members.
I’m urging all South Australians to download the

app that will help keep individuals, families and communities safe from the further spread of
#COVID_19
. It will alert people at risk and allow health authorities to respond to local outbreaks much faster.
