For infants and toddlers, the experience of gazing at entire faces, reading expressions and discerning others' inner feelings, and relating what they infer to what goes on inside themselves, is absolutely crucial to healthy development. Masks prevent this from happening.

Agree for infants and toddlers. But the anti mask movement encompasses older kids who should be able to understand that while masks are inconvenient, when worn properly they help slow transmission of a virus they could be deadly to someone they care about.
