This knowledge-neutrality is not conservative and it is not traditional and it is not effective. It is fundamental liberal philosophy, it is self-defeating, and it is a big reason why leftists have managed to take over primary and secondary education.
We should be teaching young Americans how to think, not what to think.

Education is teaching both what to think and how to think and everyone believes it. The professors of this dictum would not be happy if a student were taught how to think but was still a racist. Furthermore, is the law of non-contradiction method or content?
