Does someone know, if there is a plan to make @auroraisnear more scalable? Since Aurora is deployed as a smart contract on NEAR and a contract can only be deployed on a single shard, it is limited to ~20k TPS (from my memory, could be wrong).

On April 21st Aurora released their SDK: To give you a TLDR, it basically lets you interact between Near mainnet and Aurora EVM seamlessly. You might have heard that Aurora is in fact the EVM compiled to a smart contract, which runs on Near mainnet.

No gas increase on Near Protocol will happen as long as usage stays below 50%. "The gas price is not fixed: it is recalculated each block depending on network demand. If the previous block is more than half full the price goes up, otherwise it goes down."
