It's been a while since I last promoted my various creative endeavors.
I am an unrepped writer, who has a nice portfolio of short stories, novels, poems, and scripts (short, feature, and pilot). 🤓

Overheard in Target.
Little girl, probably 6/7 years old, clutching an Anakin lightsaber in her hands.
Mom: Don’t you want to buy some fun kitchen toys?
Girl: No, I want to defend the galaxy!
Mom: Look at this pink stuff!
Girl: You’re making me go to the Dark Side!
Do movies have to prove “cultural impact” to matter? It’s a sequel. People loved it when it came out. Quoted it. Made memes. Moved on. The constant need for long-term cultural relevance for ALL films seems like a side effect of something bigger happening with society.
- Ya'll need to be more aware when you're out and about and listen to some of the crazy shit children say. I'm constantly eavesdropping on conversations and I'm forever entertained by what comes out of the mouths of babies.
Just because it bears repeating:
- There was a huge 50% clearance sale on toys at Target yesterday. Which was why I was there looking for black series action figures. The kitchen stuff was on deep discount, whereas the lightsaber was not.
- To the quote tweets asking how a child would even be watching Star Wars. (Lol WHAT?) I mean, Disney+ exists. There's three cartoon series and all the moves except for TROS on there. I saw TPM at 6 and was instantly obsessed so, I mean?
Natalie Portman says that when George Lucas let them improvise dialogue for 'Attack of the Clones' during the Naboo scenes it got 'inappropriate very quickly'
'SCOOB: HOLIDAY HAUNT' producer and writer Tony Cervone reveals that recently deceased actor Andre Braugher played the role of Chef in the shelved Warner Bros. Discovery movie.
"We made [the Prequels] for [the kids] ... they weren't written very nicely about by the critics ... We now meet those people that really love our films, but it’s taken 15 years for us to hear that and it’s so nice. It’s changed [my] relationship with Star Wars"
— Ewan McGregor
This is not what a “scab” is. He’s a director. The DGA made a deal. It’s crossing a picket, if anything. But he’s also got a contract. Stop using words wrong, please.
If you’re mad that your favorite show could be cancelled or is on hold due to the strike, remember to blame the studios and not the workers fighting for fair wages.
I’m begging people NOT in either union to shut up. You’re spreading SO much misinformation and it’s not helping anyone. Look to OFFICIAL sources, not chronically online self-appointed fandom mods.
The unions have not said anything like this and this user is speaking out of her rear. She's not an expert, she's a blowhard
Don't refrain from anything unless the unions ask you to; no boycotts, no curtailing normal fan activites. The unions are your guides
"Shipping" has literally been around since the inception of fandom, but most notably in the Star Trek fandom! In fact, the first fanfic for Spock/Kirk was penned in 1974. It is not a new phenomenon, by any means.
The ‘shipping’ phenomenon is interesting. As an older fan, I don’t remember this practice as prevalent as it is with younger fans. Someone explain it to me please.😍
Not spoiling it, but there's an actor in today's episode of
#Andor
that made me so ridiculously happy to see considering they rarely get to look like themselves on-screen. Like I was just... so happy. One of the best actors of this generation, and a mainstay of our lives.
Ridley Scott really said, "I want those three white boys the internet wouldn't shut up about last year." When he set out to cast the 'Gladiator' sequel.
Ah yes, this totally unknown character who was created under *checks notes* George Lucas *checks notes* appears frequently in one of the most popular animated series, *checks notes* appears in the Sims expansion pack, has merch, and is well-known. Also, he introduces himself!!
Although this animated figure is impressive in its movements I have zero idea who it is or why it is important. Good storytelling requires fore knowledge of stories and characters for a ride or experience to succeed.

Always shocked when people are like "I don't get it" about Glen Powell because when I saw Top Gun: Maverick that guy was like an atom bomb of charisma. He showed up to work that day going, "Today I'm gonna be a fuckin movie star," and he was. (Haven't seen the romcom yet)
Yeah, how dare directors praise the guys who do 80% of the on-set work, after a studio obscured that effort for nearly three seasons. You all have no idea how stuff works on sets and it shows. 🙄

thread time! So, I have often cited 'Rogue One' as the movie that saved and changed my life. I saw it in theaters a half-dozen times and in the time since it arrived on digital, I've watched it well over 300 times. It got me through the worst years.
I need people who are NOT in any unions to stop trying to play hall monitor. We don’t need you yelling “scab” at every one because you think you’re being a hero. 99.9% of the folks in both striking unions want to do the right thing and are following our individual strike rules to…
In response to everything that has been going on in the

, if only you knew just how much it means to me to know that my writing matters to people.
I've seen the first eight episodes of
#TheBadBatch
and it's truly a case of "they saved the best for last." Season 3 is the best yet for the series, and a much darker turn. Lots of twists, lots of heart, fun returns, and some HUGE
@starwars
lore connections.
⦿ Most Reylo shippers were full-blown adults when the film came out. It turns 10 next year.
"Shipping" was coined by the X-Files fandom in 1995. It turns 30 next year.
⦿ The first documented Spock/Kirk fic was penned in 1974. It turns 50 this year.
Shipping is not new!
I said I was done engaging, but nothing makes me madder than being called THAT.
You wouldn’t have sci-fi without women.
You wouldn’t have Star Wars without Marcia Lucas, or even Carrie Fisher’s rewrites.
You wouldn’t have conventions without women.
We are the backbone.

Loud and wrong. Shocking. This is EXACTLY what we’re striking for. Residuals are vital and, spoiler alert: Sean should’ve been better compensated for his work. Maybe research before speaking.
Disney+ purging
#Willow
is such a pathetic move. Purging any content—already bought and paid for—is a pathetic move. They better shop it to another streamer and not just bury it.
I think we should put all four of these men in something set in the 1970s. These faces have never seen an iPhone. These are faces that have opinions on the Vietnam War. These are faces that lived through Beatlemania.
@JustaBlondeMama
I'm forever grateful that my mother bought me all the hot wheels, lightsabers, action figures, kitchen stuff, and baby dolls I desired as a kid. I was so insulated as a kid I never even realized there was a 'difference' between them.
An accurate depiction of me realizing that the prison on Narkina 5 is a panopticon and I have been presented with another opportunity to wax philosophical and approach

through an academic lens.
I’m very grumpy about the
#VampireAcademy
cancellation, and also thinking about how—with today’s dire state of streaming—long-running hit series like ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and ‘Vampire Diaries’ would absolutely have been canned in their first seasons.
"Luke in the Mandalorian is far removed from TLJ Luke."
You mean to tell me some stuff happened in his life between roughly 9 ABY and 34 ABY?
I can't imagine what may have happened in his life in those 25 years. If only we knew...
It would appear that Gina doesn’t know how to tell the truth, since none of us are Creative Directors at LucasFilm and the GoFundMe doesn’t mention her...
I try not to get too caught up in the people complaining about Kenobi because most seem done in bad faith and wilfully ignoring stuff, but the one that keeps making me laugh is the folks mad that Stormtroopers are “suddenly” bad shots as if that isn’t their entire shtick.
I understand why a lot of non-actor/writer crew members are frustrated about the strike—I get it, I do—but this fight is also about YOU. We are striking for your job security, as much as our own.
Imagine this scenario: 100 background actors are hired for a scene.
I love how every time a new Adam Driver movie drops, we're all like "how can we make this about Ben Solo?" Which begs the question, why aren't the powers that be making things about Ben Solo? 😩
Ridley Scott really said, "I want those three white boys the internet wouldn't shut up about last year." When he set out to cast the 'Gladiator' sequel.
#Andor
is unlike any
@starwars
story that we've ever seen before.
@diegoluna_
is at the center of a stunning & dangerous world in turmoil. It's gritty, mature, and the most intelligent and well-informed story we've had to date. Tony Gilroy is a genius.
The thing I love about
#Willow
is that it whole-heartedly embraces everthing that's wonderful about fantasy, but shirks the parts that seem to be favored these days. There is joy! There is love! There is beauty! It's not just trudging through misery or twisting the knife deep.
I love the original Little Mermaid, I love the stage adaptation, but I think
#TheLittleMermaid
has blown everything else out of the water. The cast, the design, the new music, the everything. I adored it. I was grinning the whole time and felt like a kid again.
It’s not really a problem though, is it? It’s the nature of the character.
David Prowse wore the suit, Bob Anderson duelled, Sebastian Shaw was the unmasked man, and James Earl Jones was the iconic voice.
Many men made the role, from its very inception.
If Bob Iger wanted to really prove his commitment to fans, he would reverse the 'Lizzie McGuire' series cancellation and give the people what they want.
