False alarm! We had a very legitimate and concerning report from someone we all know and respect. However they had actually modified their own LND, which made funds available in an LNbits wallet even though they had been spent. Better safe than sorry. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Like @WordPress , we will maintain a vetted collection of extensions, but people are also free to create their own lists. The extension manifest is on a public repo anyone can submit to. Extensions that have been vetted are verified by a hash checksum 🍻
