If the Heard/Depp trial had not been televised, the media would have got hold of it and spun it entirely in Amber's favour. Many people who've read newspaper accounts of trials they attended in UK wonder if it was actually the same trial.
the only people who were pissed that the trial was televised and livestreamed were amber and the major news networks.
#JusticeForJohnnyDepp
otherwise the people who wanted the truth out were very satisfied with it.
@JonP_UKRAINE
It is only really about selling. That is always going to be the number one aim. Salacious stories with lurid sexual detail and portraying someone as a monster is always going to sell more than a story of innocence. Some people lap it all up. This is well understood.
@cinenoor
They did. But this time the public were able to read and discern for themselves to what extent it was accurate. And there a very wide gap between what some media have reported and what the public have seen for themselves.
@BergerReggie
The entire UK has been groomed in the way of "Believe victim." It never even occurs to many that the victim might not be the person claiming that title. This entirely suits the media because tales of woe and sexual deviancies sell like hot cakes and innocence traduced does not.
@lizyeld
Yeah, they have been spinning that way since 2016, even after the tapes came out...rather than saying she was the abuser, they ran with "the abuse was mutual."
@lizyeld
This is why no one trusts the media and this is why Biden wanted a disinformation governance board. When we can see whatโs going on for ourselves they canโt spin it anyway they want it and we canโt be gaslighted. Itโs not just about this but other things as well.
@lizyeld
Thatโs what happened with the Michael Jackson trial, most of the defense evidence was ignored. They do us all an injustice when that happens & it undermines our system of justice because weโre told one thing but the result/verdict is irreconcilable so we question it.
@lizyeld
Even though it was televised, the media is still trying to spin thing in AH's favor. And, I haven't seen one U.S. news source mention that UK trial Judge Nichols is the father of Robert Palmer, who works for TalkRadio, sister company of the Sun, and friend of Dan Wooten.
@lizyeld
I heard JD didnโt want to have cameras on but AH wanted. Ironic since now everyone is slowly seeing her true colors. She said who would believe his story but we all do now.
@lizyeld
If it hadnt been televised, the public would have no idea what really happened. My gods, its a mess to be true, but when even a multiple of women go 'I believe all women, but then there's Amber Heard', it really speaks volumes.
@lizyeld
Yes! Itโs crazy as I watched almost the entire trial and when I got snippets of the media reports, I swear they were reporting on a different trialโฆ very pro AH.
