Women who'd made the allegations were immediately swamped with "I am so sorry he did this to you. May he rot in Hell" and "You are so strong and brave to be able to say this" and I just blinked in horror at their willingness to condemn Bieber WITHOUT KNOWING ANYTHING AT ALL.

WE are exactly the same in UK. The victim is established from the point of allegation. S/he knows the police have to believe her/him and that they can access compo immediately, which is useful for people who need instant cash. Police then seek only to "prove." What are we doing?

And those images that the police apparently find, at times when it is beyond doubt that the person didn't even have access to that computer. What's going on there? Is there any investigation at all carried out into OTHER explanations? ANSWER- NO. This is insurance for police.

It's my impression that once someone has made an allegation the presumption of innocence is entirely non operational and the attitude is more "if we can't get him one way, we'll get him another, SS can assist here." This is persecution, not justice. All must fight, not join.

@lizyeld They must of thought well he is sitting for a crime he didnt commit so they had a solid case against him. Just look what the press did to him again!

@lizyeld In my case ,Northumbria Police knowingly collected false testimony against me ,they were letting people off with crimes ,giving inducements ,council homes ,cash ,reduced sentences ,early release ,people were encouraged to lie . None have been charged with any criminal offence .

@nathanburn7 I don't know you and you don't know me, but I am sure we can both agree that integrity and protecting innocents instead of incriminating them by ignoring any search for exculpatory evidence matters SO much in the police force and it is currently lacking.

@lizyeld In our case, police didn’t look at accuser’s phone or any social media accounts - they didn’t conduct an investigation as they weren’t looking for truth, just a conviction! Not a care for innocent accused &his family incl children&grandchildren. They’re not accountable to anyone.

@garythrelfall50 @FACTukorg 100%. Enormous pressure to convict sex offenders so clearly prosecuting and convicting innocents without any discrimination gives impression that this is being addressed. They're storing up mega problems because anyone can see the falsehoods "believed" and we won't have it.
