Any book I read I keep on my bookshelf (other than library books).
I don't worry about what people think.
If they don't like my choice of books, or why I read them, I believe it says something about them!

Reading about gaining knowledge/understanding. The books on your shelves don't make any sort of statement about YOU except maybe of your thirst for learning.
It never even occurred to me that people would judge ME by "books on my shelf" and anyone who does so is missing point!
