Megathread of the New Project SEKAI 1koma's Translated into English
I'll be updating it as I finish them in batches of four! I still have classes today so some will come tomorrow.
For those unaware, Japan got struck by relatively large earthquakes yesterday, and the ProSeka main account will not be posting for a while. Hopefully all survivors have been found and are safe, but it is unlikely that we will be seeing a 4koma for the current event tonight.
In 1koma 64 (the fourth one), the snake is Kohane's pet named Count Pearl and the dog is Honami's pet named Shibao. And I think Ichika is referring to her cactus?
Title: Episode 160 - 12:30 as Usual
Narrator: Niigo decides to take some time off with Mafuyu because she can’t work with them.
Kanade: Then let’s get started.
Ena: Is Yuki in the self-study room at school?
Mafuyu (Text): Yes, there will be no interferences here.
And that's the end of the thread! There was a spelling mistake in the HonaSaki one and a mixup with the MMJ and VBS leaders in the VBS Miku one so I've uploaded corrections to them!
There was this comic from a while ago that was like “MizuEna getting an anniversary cake but then they went ‘But what about Kanade?’ and then the cake ended up just saying Kanade” and this 4koma is very much that
Mizuki: Well, if you think somebody is listening in, we can just pretend to be English Conversation study materials!
Mizuki: But that does sound a little hard to do…
Ena: It’s mostly Amia that’s being too loud.
Mafuyu (Text): However, I should let you know in advance that my headphones have a lot of sound leakage.
Mizuki: Okay! Then we shouldn’t speak too loudly.
Thoughts on the new April Fool's Songs:
1. Space Cafe's Meru
2. Pegasus Exploration Team's Booo!
3. Future City's Devil's Manner
4. Niconico Food☆Search Team's Alien Alien
5. Survival Master's Setsuna Trip
6. Primordial Forest's 6 Trillion Years
Tho the last 3 are kinda equal
Once again, thank you all so much for the support for this thread! I also translate the event 4komas whenever I can. Let's make the road to the 4th anniversary just as good as this last year!
I stand with Palestine. But also, a lot of you are too quick to assume the number one, hot button issue GLOBALLY is Israel and Palestine. 164 says Japan is dealing with its own crisis. You shouldn't downplay suffering. Both Japan and Palestine are currently suffering.

Just, one more thing.
Someone said, "How could they not know?"
But I think it is true that most Japanese do not know.
Japan is currently experiencing a major disaster.
On January 1, a magnitude 7.6 earthquake and a tsunami hit Ishikawa Prefecture.
Japan is now talking so much…
Admittedly I wanted to be a little more free with the translations but I felt these were more or less good enough! If anybody has any corrections please lemme know since I'm currently learning and I love practicing with all the ProSeka content
1000 followers yippee! Honami is so awesome and now I dunno if she's my favorite or if Mizuki is but I need to catch up on the stories again but otherwise here's my Honami Appreciation Post for 1k
I will admit: I was a little distraught whilst translating because Honami wasn't getting enough sleep, so this one's a little bit on the rougher side imo
(Disclaimer: this is very general method to treat injuries that basically don't have bleeding (i.e. sprains and strains). I'm not a doctor, so this is just informative. So again, this is just widely applicable to almost any injury you may be too stubborn to see a doctor for.)
Trying to find a meaning for just タラシ (tarashi) through a traditional Japanese-to-English dictionary like Jisho would result in nothing, but if you dig a little deeper you can find 女たらし (onnatarashi) or womanizer, which I would imagine is the proper translation for this.
R - Rest, just avoid any activities that may cause further injury or irritate the area in any way. Sit or lie down, just keep the injured area immobile for a while.
I didn’t think I’d have anything to say for hitting 2500 followers, but I know have two things to say:
1. Doing something you enjoy, whether you are a complete novice or operate at the highest level, will give you energy. At the very least, it’ll give you an extra 4 hours awake.
I - Ice, slows down swelling and lessens pain. You can just make an ice bag with whatever you have or get an ice pack. Don't directly apply the ice to the skin. Have something in between the skin and ice, and you can do this for 15 minutes a couple times a day.
This 4koma was especially fun because I got to take a lot of fun direction, from Saito's "piece of trash" line to Minori's insane comment (she uses a a "yojijukujo" or a 4 kanji compound word for "attacking in waves") but my favorite was Airi's line!
Apologies for the wait! My area had an internet outage and I can't really move my computer so I just kinda went to sleep and thankfully it was back when I woke up so here is the translation.
Last but not least, this method is typically for an acute injury, which is something that has happened within the last 48 hours. General effectiveness is lost once the actual injury gets older and older.
E - Elevation, elevate the injured area above the heart to let gravity drain fluids. Arm injury? Hold it above your head. Leg injury? Lie down and prop it up on something.
C - Compression, further reduces swelling by being wrapped in plastic wrap, towels, or bandages. This can be done alongside the ice with plastic wrap, or you could keep it wrapped at all hours of the day. Just don't wrap it too tightly.
Happy New Years!
Thank you all for the support these past few months! I'm not planning on going anywhere, and will continue to translate and get better at it until we reach the end of everybody's stories.
I'll see y'alls later today with the new 4koma 🫡 (hopefully)
I hadn't updated my commission tier list in a while but since I did might as well share it!
It's only maybe 60-70% in order but I'll have to rearrange it all during Spring/Summer break.
It is now coming to my attention that a film producer and a film director might not be the same (and there's also the inconsistency with Nene saying "Director" but title says Producer) but also this is the Vocaloid community so hopefully they're interchangeably here...
