Effective immediately, Metro will no longer provide buses to law enforcement traveling to demonstrations or protests.
Our core mission is to serve the public. This decision reflects that mission.
Eclipse was a super sweet, world-famous, bus riding dog and true Seattle icon.
You brought joy and happiness to everyone and showed us all that good dogs belong on the bus.
Masks are still required on King County Metro.
A federal judge in Florida ruled against the transit mask mandate, there may be an appeal from the Justice Department that could lead to delayed implementation or for the decision to be altered or overruled.
It is not appropriate for a transit agency to deliver high numbers of law enforcement officers to a demonstration or protest.
To the those who held us accountable for transporting law enforcement in the early days of the demonstrations: We heard you.
The boys are back in town! The

to kick off their weekend series against the Astros.
If you're headed to the ballpark this weekend plan extra time for your trip and take transit!
We are committed to prioritizing service to areas of highest need and dismantling racism.
As we redouble these commitments, we must consider what our relationship to law enforcement means for our customers within the communities we are most called to serve.
Not Wordle, just RapidRide.

This is just one step. We will continue to work with our community to build awareness of our past, disrupt our present, and work toward a more equitable future.
While riding Metro, you will now hear onboard reminders: "Welcome aboard. Metro buses are disinfected daily. Help keep yourself & others healthy. Donβt travel if you are sick. Cover your cough or sneeze. Avoid touching your face. Wash your hands frequently & thoroughly. Thanks."

Capt. Dan has been with the Marine Division from the very start. His skills and the skills of the Water Taxi crew are on display every day, and were definitely needed on that windy November day!
