Losing a child is a parent’s worst nightmare, but losing a child the way I lost mine really does something to me. The thoughts that run thru my mind, God I wish no parent to go thru what I’m going thru. I get sick to my stomach, I get dizzy, I lose my appetite. This isn’t fair.

On May 24th, my daughter received her certificate, took a photo with her, talked for a bit, hugged & kissed her, she told me “I love you mommy” & off she went to her class. I wish so bad I could turn back time and have one chance to just take her home with me. It’s my fault.

Going into Robb today was one of the most difficult things Ive ever had to do. Bullet holes covered walls & floors. The word “clear” written on each door except 111 & 112, but nothing worse than seeing a huge poster congratulating them for graduating the 4th grade in just 2 days.

I’ll never forget that day. Over 10 hours my daughter was missing. Having to get swabbed in front of so many random people. Being told that my child was one of the children that didn’t make it. I should’ve stayed there to be with my baby. She needed me.
