Black supremacy is a real thing, but much like white supremacy, it's a VERY fringe ideology.
UNLIKE white supremacy, it hasn't exactly had a massive historical footprint, what with it being a more recent ideology.

I think he's just concerned that a war of us against them can only end in either us or them being victorious. The only way for "us" and "them" to be equal is if the war is dissolved and not won.
