Its been a heavy month and in the spirit of speaking truths, I wanted to share some personal news. 14 days ago I was admitted into the ER for extreme fatigue, fever, bruising, etc. After testing, I learned I have a rare type of Leukemia called APL.

June 9th, 2020 changed my life. My ER Doctor blurted “YOUR BLOOD IS HORRENDOUS, I THINK YOU HAVE LEUKEMIA.” Well, I did and from that moment I decided I’d do whatever it took to make sure I stuck around. Proud to say after 110 IV treatments, I’m done with 1/2 of my chemos!

I’m blessed the type I have is one of the most treatable and curable types of Leukemia that exists. My treatment is going well and could be seeing full remission in the next few weeks. It happened quickly and I’m lucky that my sister and @OnlyJaximus we’re there to help me
