8. Imo it is re-planning the curriculum for each cohort of children to make up the lost learning over the remaining years they have at school. So by the time they leave at the end of secondary, they are fit enough to run whatever marathon they want. Marathon. Not sprint. End

Last year I was 50. I planned a big garden party, then postponed it until this year. Then I cancelled that one (it was 100 people!). But tomorrow I will be 51 and am having some (fewer) friends and family over. My sister and I have been cooking all day and I can’t wait.

Mary Evans is one of my teachers. She works Fridays. I love her. Today she was teaching y5 tennis outside with all that wind. All I heard through my (obviously) open window was her saying to a kid “well X can accidentally go and get it then, can’t he?” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Go Mary!!!

So I am so sick of the SLT bashing, particularly the comment made that INSET day welcome backs aren’t genuine. FFS. Damned if we do and damned if we don’t. I’m out of here for a few days, spending time with my dad who’s visiting and prepping my cupcakes for my fantastic staff >>

SATs? I once had worst results in the borough & had a big telling off. Another year the dir of ed crossed a crowded room to congratulate me “If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster, And treat those two imposters just the same…” Take heart fellow HTs-we’re all in it together
