When I was a student at sask poly I lost one of my cousins. You were only allowed to miss 2 days of school a month, but our funerals take 4 days to complete, not including recovering from the wake and funeral. I lost my funding but kept going bc I was so close to being done.

This is the residential school my mom attended.. it’s really surreal. For about 8 years I lived just 15 minutes from the site and I’ve been in the gym multiple times. I even worked in Lebret. That tiny town has always felt haunted.
