The contract has a special permission allowing calling the Omnite Bridge Sender, which is responsible for communication between the networks, through the LayerZeroEndpoint. Omnite Bridge Sender encodes minting request and sends it to the Avalanche network.

When the token gets locked on Non-native wrapper's contract, minting request is sent to previously deployed ERC721 contract on the target chain. The request starts by calling moving function on the Wrapper.

Why is this such a gamechanger? 🤔 ❎ERC721 - royalties are a non-binding, social contract that only acts as a fair practice, which has often been unfairly exploited ✅ERC721-C - royalties are blockchain enforced and cannot be bypassed. Creators have full control over them

It is possible to: 👉 distribute royalties between hodlers and collection creators 👉 assign them to collection minters 👉 base them on additional conditions (wallet status, specific transactions) 👉 block trading on zero-fee exchanges ... and that are just few of many! 🔥

2. NFTs are unsustainable and don’t adjust to new concepts and standards. It's strictly related to technical limitations which lay at the roots of the blockchain paradigm - Immutability. One of the defining properties of smart contracts is that their code is immutable.

After L0 forwards the request, the receiver unpacks and decodes it and after additional validations - calls the ERC721 contract's minting function. In case the token had been already minted on this network, the function will unlock the asset.

After minting/unlocking the token, Omnite Bridge Sender emits a success event and Omnite's frontend application gets notified. The NFT on Etherum can only be unlocked after bridging it back from Avalanche.
