My favorite western divide is how Americans are like “SSRIs keep me alive, it’s the only way I can exist now, They are god to me”. and with europeans it’s “they prescribe it maybe a month here, sometimes. Kind of weird feeling. Not good for party. Don’t understand point honestly”

That’s the coldest weirdest part. Germany and Czechia and France and places i was mostly referring to are far less man.

Can't speak for Europe but I'm pretty certain the UKs prescription rates have been trending up YoY for the past 2 decades consistently
That and the fact that it takes 2 years to get a psych appointment with the NHS probably could limit annual access to an SSRI Rx
