One myth about Israel is that it is surrounded by enemies. The fact is that no Arab country has attacked Israel since 1973. In 73, Egypt did so to get Sinai back. In 1978, 1982 & 2006, it's Israel that attacked Lebanon. In Palestine, it faces resistance because it's the occupier.

The importance of #SuezCanal . Look at the map. It connects the Red Sea, and thereby the Indian Ocean, to the Mediterranean that opens into the Atlantic. If the Canal is shut, ships from Europe will have to sail along the Cape of Good Hope in Africa to reach Asia, & vice versa
