My Hip Hop Opinion of the Day: Pharoahe Monch is the best rapper alive. Technically, conceptually, stylistically, vocab-wise, subject matter, rhyme patterns, wordplay, storytelling, overall skills… he could wash 95% MCs on pretty much any of those things and more.

In case you missed it… did you know the drums on Stayin Alive are a loop? Producers Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson used a two bar loop for the whole song after the session drummer dropped out. They said they used the same drums for More Than A Woman.
