It's important to make clear that under Georgia law passed in 2017, these 53,000 can still vote if they bring ID to their polling place. It would be tragic and counterproductive if media coverage dissuaded those people from turning out.
"Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp’s (R) office is blocking 53,000 people from registering to vote, according to records obtained by the AP, a huge number that could sway his gubernatorial race against Democrat Stacey Abrams."

According to state elections officials and the state elections website, "pending" voters who show state-issued ID will be able to vote a normal ballot:
@jaybookmanajc
Can they vote on a regular ballot? Can they early vote? Can they vote by mail? Or, do you mean they can show up on election day only and cast a provisional ballot that may or may not actually be counted based on Kemp's whims?

Jay, can we add this for anyone turned away from voting. They should ask, "Give Me A Provisional Ballot With A Receipt as required by Law."
@jaybookmanajc
Doesn't matter. We progs are just setting up our usual narrative of we didn't lose, the election was stolen from us. Then we'll come up with a study that showed the people who voted for the loser are so much smarter than those who voted for the winner. Our script doesn't change.
@jaybookmanajc
Everybody better call their local election board.
@baldyparker
read the training manual and it doesn't mention "exact match" anywhere calls it "direct match." I'm thinking the 80 year old poll workers in Columbus are not going to know what this means if they encounter it.
@jaybookmanajc
Have poll workers been trained on this? Most of the ones I know think that these voters will NOT be able to vote on a regular ballot and must ask for a provisional ballot. Does
@BrianKempGA
plan to provide training to all the county election offices and the poll workers?
