Keep it copper, Lamb Inn, Wartling, uses copper and brass handles which kill the flu virus on contact, along with laundered hand towels, antibacterial sycamore boards and 2m distancing of tables we are staying open Wednesdays to Sundays, for our staff, suppliers & customers

Found top ‘Rice & Curry’ spot in #Mirissa it’s called Dimali Inn, the chef/owner was a nurse in Singapore, where she learned to cook quickly to retain both the flavours and colours. We had prawn Curry & prawn Marsala, with red rice, ochre, tomatoes potatoes & Dahl, for £3.50 each

Can too many people help wildlife? 45 days ago a giant green back turtle made her way on to Mirissa beach. Diners, tables & chairs were moved, as she laid 100’s of eggs which were put into safety by the coastguards, yesterday they hatched, and the people kept birds & dogs away!
