Starbucks needs to explain how they recruit and train to ensure the customer service standard is the same at every location at any time of the day. They’re always smiling, happy to see you and even remember your name and order and stuff if you visit a couple times.
Well done.
School projects that are not age appropriate and require parents or guardians to do the work for their child are creating irresponsible adults who expect someone to always do their work.
If I had a child and could afford some of these expensive school fees targeting rich people, I wouldn't send my child there. I can't afford the lifestyle of the average child in those schools and I would not put that kind of burden on my child. That's just me though.
I absolutely would not take my money, no matter how much I have, to care for any parent who without any reasonable explanation neglected their duties. This would extend to the grandparent who encouraged the negligence too. Government would have to lock me up.

Why me never go PE class and take it serous? They really had us thinking doctor, lawyer and bank manager are the only paths to success in country enuh. 😭😭😭
KC needs to be studied. The team spirit is unmatched. How they manage to get the mothers, grannies, wives, side woman, everybody join in like they did the KC course for 5 years is fascinating to me.
We need to rescue the country from the chokehold the church has on Jamaica. We can start by appreciating they do not always need to be asked for their opinion on every decision made by policymakers--even if they issued a press release.
Bought gas in 2022 and it still going strong. The company called a month ago worried I found a new supplier. I don’t want to live no weh weh mi haffi use electric stove.
One of the most pointless things in this country that is commonplace is handing a security guard your receipt so they can sign or bore a hole in it without. They don’t even check if the goods on the receipt and what’s in your bag are the same. What’s the point?
We routinely blow things up more than they need to. That's part of our problem. Look how dem rate mi last year and gimme 6.5 and mi laugh and keep it pushing cuz what's the big deal. People kept messaging me about it. We crave too much drama (also mi love the mess). lol
Rice and peas or white rice as the standard for lunch need fi change. And mi don't want the food that cook from 6am fi breakfast and siddung inna di wata til 12pm.
Student steps on another student’s Clark’s and finished the day in hospital. That’s not a normal reaction, especially if there was no prior beef. We have some serious challenges to deal with.
formally educated people (read those with degree(s) tend to think they can learn nothing from people who are not similarly educated. learning goes both ways. if a even fi learn bout the streets.
I don’t think we realise that though our food is tasty (and I really do like Jamaican food), there is, in my humble opinion, not much diversity. We food nice though cuz we put wi foot inna it.
The fact that the education minister had to (publicly) ask school administrators yesterday not to lock out students or send them home if they arrive at school late…
I left home at 7:30, dropped off someone in the opposite direction, stopped at a tastee and still get to work in 30mins. We might have to think bout homeschooling as a solution to all a dis. Pickney dem must can teach demself a dem yaad. lol
We don’t have enough activities for our seniors. Basically, they just have church and radio. I feel the same about activities for children. The options are so limited.
Juici vs Tastee might be one of the oldest and fiercest battles in this country. Streets in Ja and across the world have it that Juici is the best though.
Be blessed.
With all the problems in town—poor air quality, taste bad food, water lock-off, heat, handful a trees, wicked people, the voylence, and so, we really shouldn’t have to pay more than J$15,000 fi rent a 3 bedroom enuh.
