Nahhh nobody can question the dedication of NHS staff. One of the doctors working with me tonight had her WEDDING today and is on the night shifts for the next 4 days with the rest of us. She didn't want to leave us short staffed and couldn't get cover.

Today was my final shift as a FY1 doctor and also (coincidentally) my birthday! It's quite poetic that on such a personal and professional landmark, I'm reflecting a lot on the past year in both regards. I'm excited for what 24 (And FY2 Training) brings!!! Onwards and upwards😊

This was 5 years ago for me,best advice I'd say is check UCAS track as early as possible(tend to be out before 8am)so you know what to expect.Collect your results as early as possible in case you need to sort out clearing.Don't tell others your results, even if they tell you 1st.
