Yahyā ibn Mu’ādh رحمه الله said:
“The cures of the heart are five things:
-reciting the Qur’ān with contemplation
-emptiness of the stomach
-standing night [prayer]
-supplication before daybreak
-sitting with the righteous”

Ibn al-Jawzī said: “If a man is granted a woman who is everything he ever wanted, he should forget what he missed (i.e. other women).”

When you look at the narrations of the salaf and righteous you see how a single sin affected them, from their riding beast to the leaving off off the night prayer. May Allah make us as accountable as the righteous ameen
You may Struggle with something due to your sins, finding it hard to memorise your Quran or mutoon it may simply be that your heart has darkened and seeking knowledge becomes harder
Sami Hamdi is known for vilifying Muslim scholars and Muslim leaders, but this time he has taken it to far. Disrespecting the Prophet ﷺ in this manner is not acceptable by any Muslim.
Seeking knowledge should be your drive everyday. Striving to learn at least one thing and retaining what you have learnt is key. Along with implementing it
